In both law and common usage, a non sequitur is a statement in which the conclusion does not follow from its premise. In this quilt, I disconnected from my usual dialogue with commercial fabric and pursued a different logic, transitioning between unrelated patterns and colors to achieve an outcome that does not necessarily follow from the preceding section. Does this make me a non sequilter?
