The original inspiration for this quilt came from real cities where I have lived: Ibadan and Lagos (Nigeria), New York, New York, Kathamandu (Nepal), Beijing (China), and Florence (Italy). The individual cities depicted evolved to include cities of the imagination. Squares depicting computer circuitry unite the quilt.
