Time Squared: 8:48 a.m., September 11, 2001, reflects that moment where time stood still for me. On that day, America lost its innocence. As a New Yorker I felt tremendous shock and sadness for the loss of lives, the loss of businesses and the loss of the Twin Towers — buildings as a child I watched being erected. It seemed appropriate this fall (2001) to respond to the challenge of Time Squared with a “still life documentary” in order to encapsulate that moment in history — a moment none of as New Yorkers or Americans will forget.
