My photographs for this piece are of the historic New York Times building on 43rd Street in New York City, just off Times Square, and of pages from the newspaper. The embroidery presents various phrases containing the word “time,” within constructed alphabets. This quilt addresses my concern about the quality and clarity of information as filtered through the news media.
