We all react differently to change. Usually I love change as I can sit with it and see where it can take me creatively in my creative process. A change in my surroundings or a change in my view is an opportunity for growth. But my anxieties soared in 2020 with the pandemic, and three years later I am still recovering my emotional and creative balance from that disruption. I always have a million ideas bouncing around in my head, and can usually see them all clearly, but the fog that settled in has been a murky beast. Time clicks by, my sleep is restless and short, ideas are still flying around, but the reaction time is slow. Sit through it, I tell myself, you will recover.
